Ce travail explore l’intersection entre mémoire, matérialité et abstraction à travers un support emblématique : la cassette audio. Objet du quotidien devenu vestige d’une époque, la cassette incarne une dualité fascinante : à la fois réceptacle de souvenirs intimes et témoin matériel d’une culture collective en mutation. En peignant directement sur les cassettes, j’interviens sur leur surface et leur structure, détournant leur fonction originelle. La bande magnétique, autrefois porteuse de sons, de voix et de musiques, devient un élément textural ou reste en filigrane comme trace fantomatique du contenu qu’elle renfermait.
